Elle spent a year renovating the property whilst trying to restore the character and it now has a
contemporary yet vintage feel. Most of the interior fixtures and fittings were made bespoke to
Elle’s design – even the paint was specifically mixed for the house.
The interior walls had to be repaired and the decision was made to open up the two main interior
spaces to create more flexibility. Large industrial style sliding doors were used to divide the living
and dining areas and the master suite from the dressing room.
