Keen skiers Les and Amanda Szkoda were frequent visitors to the Porte du
Soleil region and when their children had grown up, initially looked for a
holiday home in the Alps. Very quickly they decided that they would relocate
entirely and began searching for a suitable property.
They found an old cow byre above
the village of Les Gets, a small and typically French Alpine farming village which has
developed skiing and winter sports since the 1950’s.
