“In the centre of Hanseatic city Deventer, Nicolette and Joost came across this old forge with beautiful old details. They live there with their youngest son. Their older children (from previous marriages), who no longer live at home, regularly drop in for a family dinner or a chat. Tourists stop and stare daily, mainly because the huge windows reveal the kitchen, which is a combination of old and modern.”
