 The owners are Catherine Barr and Webster Wickham, a couple with two daughters, Hannah (13) and Iola (11) who live at The Farmhouse with their two cats, Billy and Smudge, and seven chickens.

Catherine is the Communications Director and Webster is the Creative Director of their design firm.

In 2002 they bought this Grade II * listed four bed-roomed farmhouse, parts of which date from 1786, with five acres of land. At the time it was completely uninhabitable, and the couple undertook a massive renovation project, involving damp proofing, rewiring, roofing work, treating for Death-watch beetle, and the installation of a contemporary glass extension.

The result is a stunning combination of the old and the new that serves as a remarkable family home.
