Emilie Fournet’s reworking of a Victorian terrace in London is a masterclass in creating intriguing and individual spaces from scratch. As an interior designer, Emilie knows all about the power of contrast – and making the most of every inch of space. Their lush and light dining space feels almost tropical, draped with foliage and dotted with shots of vibrant colour. It is balanced by the double sitting room at the front of the house, which exudes a sophisticated, esoteric feel with its  moodier, dark walls. She’s an avid collector of vintage pieces, many from France, where she grew up and visits often.
