Georgina and Nigel Salter

Reached by a long driveway lined with lime trees, there is certainly something beguiling about this Suffolk longhouse, with its timeworn oak beams, undulating walls and surrounding land teeming with wildlife. Its current owners, Georgina and Nigel Salter, have worked tirelessly to restore the building, parts of which date back to the 16th century. Pale beams and limewashed walls have informed a knocked-back palette, with the exception of the drawing room, where jewel-like colours and luxurious fabrics make this the perfect party space.
