Having spent a very happy decade living in France, when Jo and Peter Flavell decided to return to the UK, they had their hearts set on a rural property. The couple were in search of a location that would offer easy access to Jo’s family in the North as well as a manageable commute to London where many of their friends live. An on line search led them to a stone cottage in a tiny hamlet just on the border between Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
