Sophisticated spaces that feel cohesive and grown-up – that was what Katherine Cook wanted to achieve from her new home, a handsome east London house. With three serene paint colours as her baseline, Katherine added shapely furniture and soft fabrics for a sophisticated feel. Rich velvets and woven rugs are set against smooth, dark-stained floors, while mid-century furniture contributes some timelessly cool design silhouettes.
