Megan and Adam Tudball run their own storage business; they live at Cromwell Lodge with their three young children (Oliver 12, Ella 10, and Arthur 7).

In 2002 they bought this Grade II listed home dating from 1740, one of the oldest buildings in the area. They were attracted to its wealth of period features and its history; Oliver Cromwell is believed to have stayed there. In 2004 they began the renovation work that would take them six years in total, as they juggled the arrival of babies with applying for listed building consent and taking on builders. The tasks included the renewal of all the electrics and plumbing, a first floor extension, re-rendering the exterior, a new roof and much more. The result, however, is a home that is steeped in English style and honours its heritage yet reflects a contemporary family aesthetic.
