Tina Ramsbottom is an award-winning designer and illustrator. Neal is a personal trainer. Their young son Hudson is six.
In 2004 they bought this semi-detached 1930’s home. They were attracted to its character and proportions, the large corner plot on which it sat, and the studio at the bottom of the garden. The house was in good condition but certainly not to their taste with yellow carpets, orange wallpaper and an abundance of honey-coloured pine. The couple spent seven months renovating, including building a side extension with new kitchen, installing a downstairs toilet and landscaping the garden.
